Flirc and Samsung One Remote
#1
Hello,

I'm looking for a remote control solution for Kodi on my ASUS PN52. I've heard a lot of good thing about FLIRC, but I'm not sure
if it will work with my Samsung one remote? I just bought the TV (QN95B) and I can not tell if the remote using IR or Bluethooth or maybe a mix of both?
If the samsung remote does not work, any tips for an alternative?

Also, the PN52 supose to suport CEC so that might be an alternative solution,  but I'm not sure if it's only for power on/off?

Thanks

Are you using LibreElec or Windows?  That decision will make a big difference  on how the remote works with Kodi.

I think the PN52 has an IR port and if you must have line of sight see if you can use it.  I am not a fan of IR or FLIRC (the good comments are usually form MCE remote and Harmony users) so I look for BT or USB-HID RF remotes when I can.
