If you do manage to enable debugging in Kodi, then RESTART Kodi so debugging will be active from the very start.
Lots of people think it's okay when they activate it somewhere in the middle of the Kodi session.

I realized this after I tried it the first time last night. I caught that after I reread the info last night. I just tried this as instructed. Here is the url for debugging. Alright, tonight after enabling debugging. I closed out of Kodi and went back in and followed everything. I hope it worked this time. I have screenshots of my tv doing everything too in case you want to see those. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Nope, still not right. There is no debug mode enabled.
Maybe you are uploading the wrong one?
If you exit Kodi after creating the log then upload kodi.log
If you exit Kodi then restart Kodi, then you upload kodi.old.log.
Check the log and you should see the word "debug" throughout the log, and the log should be thousands of lines long, not like your current one which is only a few hundred lines.

But from what I can see smb://192.168.0.143/Dave's Movies & TV Shows/Dave's TV Shows/I Am Groot (2022)/ is the only tv show in your source? Is that correct?

The other thing you can try, when your duplicate entries are scraped, check where it is coming from by checking the path of the file that the library entry is connected to...

Once I enable debugging. You can see the info running in the top left corner. Then I log out of Kodi. Log back in. I then go to tv shows and select "Update Library." Then the following occurs.

Once it's finished, I go to Kodi Logfile Uploader and select run.
Then this occurs:

I select upload.

Then I scan the scan the qr code and it loads the debug report to my phone and I put the link in the forum. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hmmm, you have done everything absolutely correct.
Looking at your log again, Debug Log is actually enabled. It states that on Line 30.
But there is no debugging in your log. It's like it has all been stripped out.
I have no idea what is going on there!!

Any comments on my other questions?

I am truly sorry you are stumped. Could the debugging not fully doing what it's supposed to, have something to do with the skin I'm using? I'll fish around a little more and see if there is a setting somewhere else in the skin.

As far as everything else. It's odd, it shows it as the only tv show, I ha e several others, same source location. So that's odd. I'll take a look st the pathnrxt time too and review the source and see if there is anything else odd there.

Let me know if you come up with anything. When I run update Library for movies, it does something similar but with a couple different files. I'll do a little more digging on my end. I can post back here if I get it figured out. Thanks again!

I'm still a novice with this. Will I need apk for command prompt on firestick? Or is there somewhere I can go to select an option for enabling this?

To enable adb on the device you simply need to enable developer tools - https://www.firesticktricks.com/develope...stick.html

You need adb installed on your computer, there are various methods depending on your computer's OS.

Once both requirements are satisfied, opening a command console window on your computer and connect to the device with "adb connect <device's ip>:5555"

Once connected you can issue the command to enable Debug level logging. ( For additional general information, not necessarily for the current operation, https://developer.android.com/tools/adb )

no worries its new to me too, as in maybe the last 6 weeks or so, i could swear i could get debug logs in Jan or Feb this year but then "all of a sudden" (likely following an update) it was INFO no matter what

ive been using firetv since 2019 and android since HTC EVO (so basically the beginning)
