I already use 21 due to hd audio fixes for android and new firestick
Could you also suggest me, if afr works correctly, a gigabit ethernet adapter ?

So Firecube 3 arrived and seems that now with this device i don't lost AFR when I switch off TV
BUT I don't have AFR in netflix LOL
With 4k max gen a banner in netflix notify about afr activated, with fire cube gen 3 no banner and no AFR
Never ending story
I'm bored of Amazon devices I will return it tomorrow
Edit: after several try play/stop same film etc lost afr
Tried with avr on and when switch off fire cube set resolution to 720p 60 lol
Now i Will give a chance to homatic s905x4
In the worst case I will return to antique time
Firestick for stream
Nuc for my love : libreelec ( I never had problem with Nuc.and AFR)

Anyone else having sound issues upon resuming Kodi 21 RC1 after the device goes to sleep?
I have no sound until I close Kodi and re-open on my 4K Max.

Hey.
I'm trying to understand if Atmas passthrough works.
I try to use mkv samples and can get only PCM.
What I can get with this device?
DD+Atmos? Dolby TrueHD + Atmos? DTS:X? etc

I have a Fire TV max (gen.2) with which I access my NAS hdd via WLAN. Since the connection is too bad, I want to connect the stick via a LAN.
Will I still be able to access my NAS hdd?

I just bought a Fire Stick 4K Max and have plugged it in to my Denon AVRX1700H. I have a 7.1 Atmos speaker setup which I've been using for some time and enjoying Atmos sound from Netflix/Prime/Kodi etc....until someone mentioned it's lossy DD+ Atmos and that "you aint heard nothin' yet" and said I should get a Fire Stick for TrueHD lossless Atmos.
I have some mkv files with TrueHD audio, mostly HVEC 265 video, but I can't seem to get Kodi to play them properly from my Media PC...some black screen with great audio (Denon shows Atmos or "DTSHD Neu:X"), others show video but lag and stutter. Audio seems fine so I guess it's a video problem. I have a fast Wifi6e network. If I turn both HW accel options off in Kodi the video plays at like half speed. If I turn them on for the files that don't black screen the video plays well for a minute or so before freezing for 20 seconds then continuing. I can't really find a good explanation on HW acceleration...I assume when turned on it uses the Fire Stick's CPU to do the decoding, if turned off it uses my media center's CPU? But even with it off I don't see much activity on the CPU/GPU of my media center so I must be missing something.
Can anyone link me to something that'll get me sorted out here?
